Test questions for test one

On test day, Wednesday, September 24th, I will choose two questions randomly from each of the groups of questions below. You will have to choose one question from each group to answer. Like I mentioned earlier, the test questions come directly from the objectives at the beginning of each chapter.

Chapter 3 test questions:

1. Compare (and contrast) the metaphysics of idealism, realism, neo-Thomism, pragmatism, and existentialism.
2. Compare (and contrast) the epistemology of idealism, realism, neo-Thomism, pragmatism, and existentialism.
3. Compare (and contrast) the axiology of idealism, realism, net-Thomism, pragmatism, and existentialism.

Chapter 4 test questions:

1. Compare the purpose of schooling from a perennialist, progressivist, behaviorist, essentialist, social reconstructionist, and postmodernist perspective.
2. Describe the nature of the learner from a perennialist, progressivist, behaviorist, essentialist, social reconstructionist, and postmodernist perspective.
3. Compare the curricula of perennialism, progressivism, behaviorism, essentialism, social reconstructionism, and postmodernism.
4. Compare the instructional methods that characterize perennialism, progressivism, behaviorism, essentialism, social reconstructionism, and postmodernism.
5. Compare the preferred classroom management methods of perennialism, progressivism, behaviorism, essentialism, social reconstructionism, and postmodernism.
6. Compare the assessment strategies of perennialism, progressivism, behaviorism, essentialism, social reconstructionism, and postmodernism.
7. Compare the role of the teacher from the perennialist, progressivist, behaviorist, essentialist, social reconstructionist, and postmodernist perspectives.

(I realize these aren't actually questions, but I call them questions anyway.)
